About the slot
Game of Gladiators is a 5 reel, 20 payline slot which is playable on all devices and comes with an RTP of 96%. The reels are against a background of a dark tunnel with blazing torches on either side. Spinning the reels will cost you from 20p up to £100 per go.
Symbols are the Jack to the Ace Royals which have the lowest value followed by the gladiators Rectiarus, Murmillio, Provocator and Scissor, the latter having the highest value.
The tiger is the wild symbol, landing 5 on a payline will pay you x25 of your wager, and the scatter symbol is the portcullis.
Gameplay
In the base game one of the five following Primus Attack Special features can be randomly triggered:
Fame comes into play before your next spin, a gladiator will be selected at random and you will be rewarded with a payout according to the symbol in the Battle Paytable.
From 3-6 spears will be aimed at the reels as they spin in Spear Attack, if they hit the reels that symbol will transform into a stick wild.
Sword Attack: the first reel is duplicated 2, 3 or 4 times after they stop spinning.
Net Attack: all gladiator symbols that are matching will remain on the reels for 1 respin.
Enraged: this feature will see 2 expanding wild tigers adder to the reels.
Landing 3 scatters on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reel on the same spin will trigger the Enter the Arena battle feature where you will choose either Spartacus or Amazonia as your champion, and whichever one that you choose will replace the scatter symbols. Sparticus can retrigger this feature but Amazonia will award you with up to a x100 multiplier.
All higher value symbols will be added to the battle meter, and every champion that lands on the reels will attack a group of gladiator symbols and destroy them. You need to destroy all of the groups to win the battle. If the battle meter gets full, the battle is lost.
This slot may sound confusing but once you start playing you soon get to understand it. The graphics and animations are very good and I really enjoyed playing it. The RTP is 96% and you can potentially win up to 5,000 of your wager.
