Fortune of Giza

Fortune of Giza is a new Pragmatic Play slot released in January 2022. Not one of the most imaginative themes, ancient Egypt is the inspiration behind this new addition but that said Pragmatic more than makes up for this in other areas.

About Fortune of Giza

Played on 5 reels with 20 active paylines, bets range between 20p and £100 per spin. Fortune of Giza is optimised to play on desktop and mobile devices, it’s highly volatile with RTP set at 96.48% and a top prize worth 6,750x the bet.

The background is typical of the theme with pyramids taking centre stage along with the Sphinx. The gold framed reels contain low-value royal card suits, along with a snake bracelet, a panther-headed sphinx, and a sceptre. The two Spinx, one with an eagle head and one with a wolf’s head are the highest paying symbols.

Gameplay

A red crystal ball is the wild and this substitutes all symbols barring the scatter, it also comes with a 2x and 3x multiplier when it lands on the middle reels.

The scatter is a full moon behind a pyramid and only appears on reels 1, 3, and 5. The free spins trigger after landing 3 or more scatters on a spin and a 5x the bet is paid. The number of free spins you’ll receive is determined through a mini-game played on 3×3 reels with 9 numbers. These are added up and your free spins are made available. The multipliers associated with the middle reels are also present during the free spins.

Overall, Fortune of Giza is a solid slot but it’s all about the features, the design is nothing we haven’t seen before.
