Family Fortunes from Electracade is a fun video slot based on the hit UK TV show (known as Family Feuds in the US and Canada). It is a 5-reel slot with 25 paylines, presented in a typical 5×3 format. The slot offers some great features, including an unlimited Free Spins round, and the chance to win big by playing a round of the Family Fortunes game itself.
Games
Family Fortunes offers a wide range of bets per spin, ensuring a global appeal to players of all budgets. There is a top payout of 1000 coins up for grabs – that’s the equivalent of $25,000. Game play is fast and the soundtrack edgy. It’s a lively game, with lots going on, and the natural appeal of the Family Fortunes theme adds to the thrills.
Design
The setting for Electracade is the studio where filming takes place, with plenty of glittering lights and a backdrop dominated by vibrant purple and blue. The reels are framed on a large screen and include Jack, Queen, King and Ace symbols. The remaining icons are bold and in keeping with the theme – Boxed BIG, and DOUBLE Money signs, a Wild, a mystery Question Mark that yields the best base game prizes, the game Logo, and an array of brightly coloured stars.
Bonuses and Features
Wild – set against a blaze of stars, the Family Fortunes Wild substitutes for all other icons with the exception of other special symbols
Double Money Bonus – land 3 of these Scatters on reels 3, 4 and 5 to activate a bonus round where a 2x Multiplier is awarded to all winnings, and the spins continue until the player gets 3 ‘X’ symbols (a feature of the Family Fortune show). Wins are accrued from both directions on the reels
Big Money Bonus – land 3+ of these Scatters to play a Family Fortunes round and earn some serious cash prizes
Family Fortunes Logo – this is the holy grail – secure 5 of these on a winning payline to be in with a chance of winning the jackpot. Note that the 500 coins will be awarded in the base game – to net the 1000 bumper prize you need to land the 5 Family Fortunes Logos during a Double Money Free Spins round
