Go in search for the lost golden city with the colourful March 2021 slot release from Pragmatic Play, El Dorado The City of Gold Megaways. This is available to play on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices and has an RTP set at 96.58%. You can play from 20p up to £100 per spin and have the potential to win 20000x your stake.
Set out on a 6×8 grid, it features the cascading wins mechanic, free spins, multipliers, scatters, wilds, different free spin mode and of course, the megaways mechanic.
El Dorado The City Of Gold Megaways Design
There is a lot going off in this design which is packed full of colour and detail. It has an Aztec feel to it with lush jungle greenery and temple buildings in the background. There is a drum heavy soundtrack and excellent bold imagery, with large 6×8 reels.
10 to A royals make up the lower value symbols, with frogs, birds, snakes, leopards and a tribal woman making up the higher values. The tribal woman is the most valuable, paying 50x your stake for 6 on a payline. The wild is the tribal man and can substitute all regular symbols.
Gameplay and Features
Each time you have a win, the winning symbols are removed from the reels and new ones cascade down to fill the spaces and hopefully form another win. This continues as long as wins are being formed.
The free spins round is activated by the scatter symbols and comes with multipliers. You’ll have the choice of free spins and multipliers. With 4 scatters you can pick either 15 free spins with a 1x multiplier, 10 spins with 5x multiplier or 5 spins with a 10x multiplier. With 5 scatters you can pick either 19 spins with a 1x multiplier, 14 spins with a 5x multiplier or 10 spins with a 10x multiplier. 6 scatters give you the choice of either 23 spins with a 1x multiplier, 18 spins with a 5x multiplier or 13 spins with a 10x multiplier.
You also have the choice of increasing your bet by 25% which then doubles your chance of triggering the free spins feature.
Verdict
This is a really exciting slot with plenty of action to keep your attention. The free spin option choice is a great addition and the top prize is very appealing too. Definitely worth checking out.
