Easter Island 2 Design
Visually, this is a great-looking slot with highly detailed graphics and a slightly unusual but fun theme. The scene is Venice beach, California, where two Easter Island heads are either side of the reels, sporting sunglasses, baseball caps and brightly coloured shirts. There are deckchairs, parasols, beachballs and palm trees behind the reels which are set within a wooden beach shack.
There are 9 regular paying symbols including the four card suits and a range of strange looking critters. These are joined by a wild which can substitute other symbols in order to form wins.
Gameplay and Features
Every time you form a win, those winning symbols are removed and replaced by new ones after a re-spin.
If your win had at least 3 winning symbols, this triggers the mega symbols where symbols are expanded to either a 2×2 block for 4 symbols, a 3×3 block for 5 symbols, or a 4×4 for 6 winning symbols. These blocks begin from the second reel.
To trigger the expanding reels feature, you need a combination of at least 6. The reels expand to 6×8 and you have 55 paylines activated.
Verdict
Easter Island was a popular title among players, and this follow up is sure to be a hit as well. It’s visually very appealing and there is plenty of action with the re-spins and expanding reels. The RTP is bang on average and it’s a great solid game that’s really enjoyable.
