If there is one thing that the slot game developing world has proven over the years, it is that it is not shy to capitalise on the popularity of a trend to entice players to a game.
With a name like Dragon Lady, you can be fairly sure from the outset that this GameArt title is taking advantage of the immense popularity of Game of Thrones.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, dragons and fantasy themes are much loved at the moment, perhaps more than ever, and if a slot is good enough, then why shouldn’t it use this to its advantage?
How does it look?
A five-reel, 10 payline slot characterised by strong imagery and bold colours, Dragon Lady is quite the sight.
The face card symbols that are found here amongst images of warriors and the Dragon Lady herself seem less out of place than with most slots, as Kings and Queens are very much a part of fantasy stories.
The tale of the Dragon Lady, the fierce warrior who wielded a sword and won many a battle, is brought to life stylishly here, and if this kind of slot is your thing, then you are really going to like how this one looks.
How does it play?
The Dragon Lady Wild substitutes for all but the scatter and can help you pick up some nice winning combinations, but it is the free spins round you’re after.
Triggered by landing just two scatter symbols on the reels, you will receive ten free spins which can be re-triggered if you’re lucky.
If these are re-triggered, this feature can be good, but if not, this feature feels like the gameplay of the slot in general, unimaginative, fairly uninspiring, and bordering on lazy. This is a fair game, but nothing to write home about.
