Developers often stick to a tried and tested theme, but why not mash 2 of them together? Pigs and Vikings might not be the first combination to spring to mind, but that’s what GameArt have delivered. Piggy Bjorn is a piggy Viking themed slot with 50 paylines and features including bonus symbols, scatters, wilds, changing reels, cash collection and hold and spin.

Piggy Bjorn Design
Firstly, the design and graphics are excellent; high quality and packed with detail. The 5×4 reels are set in a wooden contraption with spiked wheels and chains attached. Behind is a battle ground with a brooding purple smoky sky and mountains in the distance.
Symbols consist of 4 lower value runes, with higher value axes, swords, maces, bows and shields. Piggy Bjorn is the wild and can replace any of these symbols. The is also a regular scatter and a mega scatter which trigger bonus features.
Gameplay and Features
When you land at least 3 scatters or mega scatters, the regular scatters change to Raid Bonus symbols and the mega scatters change to the Fury Taxes Collector. You’ll then enter the Raid Bonus game. The free spins you receive depend on the number of scatters you landed and during this round, only Raid Bonus Symbols land. The coins have values up to 200x your stake along with various other special symbols. There are 7 special symbols which all have various modifiers ranging from multipliers, respins, added symbols and increased symbol values.
During this round, the reels can expand up to 2x per round, and filling the reels with bonus symbols pays out 500x your stake.
Verdict
This is a really enjoyable, fun game, with superb graphics and loads of action to match. It’s a bit of a ‘Money Train’ copy, but still a great addition and worth checking out if you haven’t already.
