Cluster Slide

Cluster Slide is a space-themed video slot developed by Elk Studios. Expect plenty of wild action in this new title set on a mysterious, yet extremely colourful planet. The slot is highly volatile and comes with an average RTP of 96% and a top prize of 10,000x the total bet.

About Cluster Slide

The action takes place on a more unusual set up of 7 reels and 8 rows and utilises the Cluster Slide mechanic where symbols in a winning combo are removed and new ones slide in from the right. This continues until no more wins occur.

The backdrop is a bright, colourful planet and I must say it’s one of the best designs so far from Elk. The grid itself is filled with various gems and cartoon-style hairy monsters. The red monsters are the most lucrative, 5 pays out 1x the total bet but 15 pays a huge 500x the total bet.

Gameplay

You’ll see a meter at the top, once you land a winning combination the symbols are added to the meter, once full you are awarded one of five feature wilds.

Get all five feature wilds in a round and you’ll be awarded a 5x multiplier.

To enter the bonus game you need to land at least 3 bonus symbols on a spin. You receive either 3 free spins or 3 Wild drops. On the first drop, regular wilds are placed in random positions on the grid, the second drop a couple of 2×2 wilds are added and the third a 3×3 wild added.

Conclusion

Cluster Slide is a unique slot in terms of design and gameplay. Incorporating a mix of sliding symbols, wild action and cluster pays brings a highly innovative and fresh new concept to the table. The wild action is where you’ll gain the biggest prizes and the larger multipliers in the bonus feature help keep the action coming. It’s well worth a spin or two.
