Call of Fruity is fun and lighthearted, despite being a war themed slot game. Created by Barcrest, this fruit-filled game has 5 reels and 10 paylines plus 2 main bonus rounds.
Theme
This slot game is set against a camouflage background and has an interesting design as it mixes both war and fruit. Barbed wire separates the reels while the paylines are indicated by bullets at the side of the screen. Despite the serious sounding graphics, the reels are full of bright colours and feature three bemused looking soldiers made of fruit, complete with army helmets. There’s no musical backing track to this game, but there are some amusing sound effects.
How to Play
The wild in the Call of Fruity slot is the banana and finding 5 on the reels will land you the (slightly disappointing) jackpot of 500 coins. Stacked bananas help to create some extra winning combinations, but thankfully there are 2 other symbols to look out for which will trigger bonuses and help you on the way to big wins; the pineapple and the bumble bee riding a plane.
Fly-By Bonus
Finding 3 bumble bee and plane bonus symbols on the middle 3 reels will trigger the fly-by bonus feature in which the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels become wild. At the same time, the 1st and 5th reels will re-spin, creating some exciting symbol combinations.
Bombsite Bonus
In call of Fruity, a Pick Me bonus feature is triggered by landing 3 pineapple symbols on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reel. In this feature, you need to choose one of the symbols to win either a multiplier or a ticket into the Bombsite Bonus.
During the Bombsite Bonus, you’ll need to choose bombsites on a new screen and watch as fruit jump from a plane and splatter on the ground at those sites. For each site, a multiplier will be removed from a prize list and the one that’s left at the end is your reward.
