Set in medieval times, the high-definition graphics are excellent shrouded in bright colours. The reels sit on the background to a forest with sunlight streaming through the trees. The highly detailed symbols include lower value 9-Ace royals, swords and shields, bows and arrows, a female character and a knight. The Knight pays 500x for 5 on a payline.
Like many “book of” slots, the book symbol acts as both the scatter and wild.
Gameplay
Landing 3, 4 or 5 book scatters on a spin awards x2, x20 or x200 respectively and 8 free spins. You then get the totem reel with 3 segments, landing the arrow symbol at the base advances to the next segment.
The 1st segment shows a random expanding symbol cover the entire reel when it lands, the 2nd segment awards an extra free spin, and the 3rd segment reveals a random symbol of which all instances of that symbol are removed from the reels.
The free spins can be retriggered with the Totem reel active, revealing more expanding symbols, free spins or the removal of symbols.
