Alchemy Fortunes Design
Alchemy Fortunes is set within a mystical laboratory, with potion books, candles and gemstones scattered all around. There is a dark purple background and the unusual 7 x 7 grid sits nicely in front and looks like a chemistry experiment set up.
The symbols are various coloured gems which are the lower values, and potion bottles which are more valuable. The red potion bottle is the most valuable, paying out 500x your wager for a cluster of 30 or more.
The blue orb acts as the wild and can substitute at any symbol.
Gameplay and Features
As the reels spin, you collect winning symbols which are collected each round. When you collect enough, this triggers the additional features.
The rolling reels feature sees winning symbols added to the meter at the side and new symbols cascading down to fill their places. While ever winning combos are formed, the rolling reels feature keeps going.
Wilds can land at any time, sometimes up to 6 on a non-winning spin. During the free spins round, 5 wilds are automatically added to the reels.
There is also a potion meter at the side and as you rise through the levels, you receive additional rewards. Level 1 is the potion swap and sees any high value symbols changed to the same symbol. This goes up to level 5 the fortune free spins, which awards 5 free spins.
Verdict
This is a great looking slot that isn’t the usual themes we tend to see. The rolling reels keep the action going and the potion meter at the side is a nice touch. There’s plenty of action to make it enjoyable, but the maximum win is on the lower side which is a little disappointing.
