Bicicleta

Bicicleta is a slot with an intriguing name from Yggdrasil. The word Bicicleta refers to both a bicycle, and an overhead/scissor football kick in Spanish. Who knew? Yggdrasil has adopted the footie theme for this game, and Bicicleta delivers the best features of slot gaming on a 5-reel, 4-row format set in a football stadium.

Games

The slot offers 25 fixed pay lines, and is available to play from 25p-£50 a spin on all types of devices. The reels include football-patterned playing card icons, and a raft of impressive footballers with dodgy haircuts. There are two main features in the game, based on Free Spins – both offer an interesting range of embedded features to further enhance your potential winnings.

Design

Bicicleta is set inside a grand 3-tier football stadium, with a semi-transparent reel set. The game seems to be set at dusk, with a rich blue sky, muted lighting on the crowds, and a glowing green floodlit pitch. The crowd-based sound track is pleasantly atmospheric, with rousing cheers echoing from the screen when any action happens. The character icons are a little wooden-looking, but the graphics are generally very sharp and well-defined, a feature common to all Yggdrasil games.

Bonuses and Features

Wild – substitutes for all symbols apart from other specials

Free Spin – land 3, 4 or 5 of the Free Spin Football Scatters anywhere on the reels to receive 8, 16 or 24 Free Spins respectively. During this feature player icons can randomly transform into Sticky Wilds for the duration of the round

Trophy Scatter – the Trophy appears only on reel 5. In the Base Game its appearance awards from 8-12 Free Spins, or up to 1000 coins. In the Free Spins feature its appearance delivers from 2-4 Free Spins, up to 1000 coins or Wild Feature, which transforms all symbols on 1 of reels 1-4 into Sticky Wilds for the duration of the Free Spins
