Euro 2016 makes one man a millionaire with BetVictor
Published on by Becky M.
Are you one of the many who placed a bet during Euro 2016? One savvy football fan chose to have a flutter on the final with BetVictor – and it was the best choice he ever made, as he is now a millionaire thanks to his bet!
Birmingham Millionaire
The new BetVictor millionaire is Daman Chick, a 32 year old man from Birmingham. He took part in the Million Pound Goal competition with the sports betting giant, and won the mega prize by guessing that Portuguese substitute Eder would start the scoring.Eder, from Lille, was not the most popular choice for this competition. Most people thought that Antoine Griezmann was going to open the scoring, with this idea accounting for almost 37% of predictions. A few others, around 18%, thought that Cristiano Ronaldo was going to go for gold. Almost 16% thought that Olivier Giroud, who plays for Arsenal, was the way to go.
Million Pound Goal
Daman Chick has described his win for us: ‘It all started from when The Million Pound Goal was live. I was offered an entry by placing my first bet and the sixth bet I placed happened to be the winner’.Chick says that he did everything he could to get ‘as many predictions as I could with the money I could afford to play with’. It seems then, that our winner was a gambler who knows the importance of never betting more than you can afford to – and this mentality certainly hasn’t held him back when it came to winning a huge prize!
‘Trust Your Instincts’
Chick said ‘If I had properly sat down and analysed the goal scorer with the exact minute, I don’t think I ever would have gone for what I did!’ This suggests that you should trust your instincts when it comes to online sports betting, rather than attempting to make it a technical process. Perhaps if you do this in the next big BetVictor competition, you’ll win a huge prize too!
