Scout Gaming Casinos

Scout Gaming is a gaming platform that has been building a strong reputation fairly quietly in the iGaming world in recent years, but a couple of high-profile partnerships in quick succession have led to this name being on a lot more people’s lips as of late.

The Platform

A network that includes (or intends to include) the likes of Betsson, Bethard, and Nordic Leisure, as well as having names such as Fanteam, Gofantasy, and PAF having launched with Scout’s Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) product, Scout Gaming has already been making an impact.

ComeOn

The first bit of news that caught the attention in March of 2018 was the announcement that Scout Gaming Group had gone into partnership with ComeOn.

The deal was to allow ComeOn full access to the Scout DFS platform in order to provide a full daily fantasy sports option to its players.

The software, which will first be provided in a free to play format, will later become a real-money gambling option, with the expectation that the Scout platform will be integrated into ComeOn’s product well before the FIFA World Cup in Russia this summer.

StarPick

Scout Gaming weren’t done there though, and mere days later the news hit that Scout had signed an agreement with British Starpick Ltd to deliver its own DFS options.

Starpick, which owns Starpick Fantasy Pt Ltd will launch a fantasy product in India during spring which will have a specific focus on cricket.

The popularity of cricket in India means that this could be an excellent choice for both Starpick and Scout Gaming, but their plans go further than that as Scout’s CEO, Andreas Ternstrom, explained:

“Cricket is the dominating sport in India which makes it possible to reach a large number of potential DFS-players. Also European football has many followers in India which over time will contribute to increase the network liquidity for e.g. Premier League. As a result of the cooperation with StarPick we will be able to offer Cricket to all of our customers going forward.”

This deal is particularly exciting because it is an agreement between two very young companies, with StarPick being by far the junior partner, the Bristol based company having only begun life in February 2018.

The Platform

When talking about the deal with Scout, Starpick’s co-founder and COO, Trigam Muhkerjee, described Scout’s product as a “sophisticated DFS-platform”, and that’s something that will only become more in demand.

As the popularity of fantasy sports continues to rise, more and more companies will be looking to dip their toes in the water, and with Scout Gaming’s clear ability to facilitate that, we can expect to hear of many more deals being struck up between this company and some more big names in the fantasy sports and sports betting worlds.

Scout Gaming may not be the best-known name in the industry, but that doesn’t necessarily matter, especially not when you are providing a service that is only going to be more in demand as time passes.
