FunFair Games Closure

In 2023, FunFair Technologies decided to shut down its subsidiary, FunFair Games, due to tough market conditions. The closure was officially confirmed in March 2023, and it was primarily driven by the challenging economic environment, which led the parent company to pull funding for the gaming studio. FunFair Games was initially launched in early 2021 to introduce a new genre of multiplayer games aimed at a new generation of gamblers.

Before its closure, FunFair Games had undergone a rebranding effort to modernise its image and strengthen its brand identity. This rebranding was part of a larger strategic push to introduce innovative concepts and expand its content portfolio. Despite these efforts, the market challenges proved insurmountable, leading to the decision to close down operations.

Following the closure, RAW iGaming acquired FunFair Games' multiplayer arcade game portfolio, integrating popular titles such as The Wheel of Steal and Astroboomers to the Moon into its offerings. This acquisition was part of RAW’s strategy to enhance its arcade game products and expand its market presence.
