Wooly World is a 5 reel, 20 pay-lines video slot from Microgaming and takes players to the prehistoric times. The coin denominations can be varied in stops from 0.01 to 0.25. Players can wager up to 10 coins per pay-line. The maximum total bet is 50.00 coins. In the regular game the number of pay-lines and coins can only be increased, but in the expert mode these can be increased and decreased.

Theme
It is based on prehistoric times with the background to the reels showing dense green foliage and bright sunshine. Some of the animals are set in ice. The card faces are designed to look like colourful pieces of stone. The two main symbols, the wild and the scatter, show real animation when in a winning combination.
Symbols
Symbols include The Caveman who is the wild symbol and Wooly the mastodon, who is the scatter symbol. Other symbols that appear on the reels are the Saber-toothed Tiger, the Elephant, the Beaver the Compass and the Axe. High value card symbols from Ten to Ace are also symbols.
Wild
The Caveman is the wild symbol and only appears on reels 2 and 4. It does not directly offer any payouts. But when it helps complete a winning combination it multiplies the payouts by x4.
Scatter
Wooly the Mastodon is the scatter and at least two of these symbols offer scatter payouts when they appear anywhere on the reels. Five Wooly symbols offer a scatter payout of 200 coins, which is multiplied by the total bet in order to convert to credits. The free spins feature is triggered when at least three Wooly symbols are scattered anywhere on the reels at the same time.
Free spins
The number of free spins is determined by a bonus game on the second screen. The second screen reveals five animals frozen under ice. The player has to select three animals that reveal the number of free spins awarded. The free spins offer doubled payouts. The free spins can be retriggered. However, the bonus game is not played again. The player gets the same number of free spins that were awarded earlier.
