Wombaroo Design

Gameplay and Design

There are 3 main features in Wombaroo. The scatters are the wombat and kangaroos with map, and these are key for triggering free spins and bonus features. Land 3 scatters to receive 8 free spins where all wilds become sticky for the free spins round.

The hold and spin feature is activated when 3 wombats appear. They will turn into coin values and become sticky. You’ll then have 3 re-spins and all coins that land have multipliers values from 1x, 5x, 10x, 50x or 100x. The feature only ends when you run out of free spins or the grid is full of wins.

There is a meter above the reels which collects up the coins that appear. The Super Feature is activated when you collect 30 in the meter and you’ll start with 8 free spins. Just like the other features, the wilds will become sticky and with multipliers up to 100x.

Verdict

There’s nothing innovative here, however, it is a really fun game and there’s lots to keep you entertained. Extra points for creating a game with an unusual theme though, and the Hold and Spin feature with the various multipliers, adds to the excitement.
