Valley of Dreams Design
The visuals on this slot are stunning and are based on the Japanese traditions of celebrating the sakura blossoms. The background consists of bright meadows, streams, waterfalls and the bright pink blossom trees. The reels are set inside a traditional Japanese wooden building and overall, there is a tranquil feel to the design.
There are 10 regular symbols with higher and lower values. The O shaped symbols are the lower values and are bamboo, water, wind, a lotus flower and fire. The higher values are foxes, fish, snakes, turtles and cats.
The purple lotus is the wild and can replace any others, and the lantern is the scatter which activates the free spins.
Gameplay and Features
Every time you land a win, winning symbols are removed with new symbols cascading down to fill the grid. After 5 consecutive cascading wins, the multipliers come into play, starting with a 2x multiplier.
After each win that consists of the lower value symbols, those symbols are removed and are counted up in the symbol removal bar to the right of the reels. This leaves just higher values on the grid to allow you to form larger wins.
Landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters trigger the free spins, giving you 8, 10 and 12 spin respectively. There are also no limits to the multiplier here, so each win sees the multiplier increasing each time.
Verdict
