Thor Infinity Reels Design
Occasionally a slot comes along that really stands out in terms of design and graphics, and this is one. It’s epic. The reels are set in the misty aftermath of a battlefield, with swords strewn all over, fir trees in the background and an atmospheric sky all around. The background alone looks like an oil painting and there is an operatic soundtrack to fit the theme perfectly.
On the reels are Norse style 9 to A royals, a shield, a horn, a Viking helmet and a pair of axes. The axes are the most valuable, paying 5x your stake for 3 in a combination.
We also have a hammer scatter and Thor, who is the wild and can replace any regular symbol.
Gameplay and Features
Gameplay begins on a 3×4 grid and every time you land a win, a new reel is added to the right hand side. This new reel spins on its own to see if you can improve your winning combination. Every time a new reel is added, a x1 multiplier is applied and increases with each win. If you manage to add 12 more reels, you’ll win 888x your stake.
Thor’s hammer is the scatter and at least 6 on the grid will trigger the Jackpot Streak Respins. The scatters that initially landed will lock in place. The scatters are given cash values or jackpot values, and you have 3 respins where only blanks, jackpot hammers or cash value hammers land.
The jackpot values available are 10x your stake for the green hammer, 50x your stake for the blue hammer, 250x your stake for the red hammer and 2000x your stake for the gold hammer.
Verdict
There are loads of Norse style or Thor themed slots out there and Thor Infinity Reels stands out certainly in terms of design. The infinity reels mechanic adds to the excitement and the additional jackpots are a great addition.
