Solar King Design
The Egyptian theme is still proving popular among slot developers despite there already being so many others out there. Design wise, Solar King is nice, but nothing you won’t have already seen before. The graphics are pretty decent with bright bold colours and the Pharaoh and Sun are the main characters here.
Symbols include the usual Royals along with the stacked Pharaoh, Horus, Bastet, the Bird of Ra and Sun symbol. The stacked Pharaoh is the highest paying and the Bird of Ra also acts as the wild and scatter.
Gameplay and Features
The Sun symbol triggers the Flaming Frames feature in the main game. This is a 10 spin feature and each sun symbol triggers a flaming frame which sticks on the reel until the 10 spins are over. On the final spin, all the flaming frames become wilds.
The Sun symbol can also provide you with multipliers as each time one lands in an existing flaming frame, you’ll receive a multiplier. For every additional sun symbol that lands, you’ll get an increasing multiplier applied to the win.
You can also trigger 10 free spins just by landing 3 scatters which can only fall on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels.
Verdict
It may be yet another Egyptian themed slot, but it has some nice features which can really stack up your wins. The Flaming Frames feature is brilliant and it’s certainly an enjoyable game. But, the lower RTP and jackpot might not appeal to all.
