Reel Desire Design
Take a trip back to the 1980’s inside a neon-filled disco. There is blue and pink neon lights all around and a thumping 80’s electric pop soundtrack.
The reels have a dark background, meaning the neon framed symbols stand out nicely. The regular royal card symbols are the lower values and high-top trainers, a digital watch, earrings and sunglasses are the premium symbols. The highest value symbols are the male and female clubbers, paying 20x your stake for 5 on a payline.
Gameplay and Features
During the base game, the Reel Desire feature can trigger randomly, with between 1 and 5 reels turning completely wild.
There is a gold disk which is a wild with a 2x multiplier attached. Each time these land on the centre 3 reels, any wins are doubled thanks to the multipliers. This then triggers a respin with the wild becoming sticky to increase your chances of winning. This can be retriggered with the additional multipliers increasing your winnings.
The scatter is the ghetto blaster symbol. At least 3 activates the free spins round as well as giving you a payout of between 50x and 500x your stake. During the free spins round, you’ll choose to play with either sticky wilds which lock in place when they land, to increase your chances of winning, or with increasing multipliers, which really pay off if you re-trigger the free spins.
Verdict
There’s a great mix of action with the multipliers and sticky wilds. There are also some great top prizes on offer which makes it very appealing. It looks very similar to other 80s disco style games out there, but overall, it’s a solid effort from Yggdrasil.
