Get your groove on to Rival Gaming’s funky I-Slot, Psychedelic Sixties. It takes players back to the hippie genre of the 1960’s. It has five reels and twenty pay-lines. Coin denominations in Psychedelic Sixties are 0.01, 0.05 and 0.10. Players can wager up to 10 coins per pay-line. Essentially this makes it a slot game for low rollers.
Theme
Everything about this slot game shouts hippie. The psychedelic pastel colors that form the background to the reels to the flowers that pop up around the symbols when they make winning combinations. The background music consists of a typical tune of the 60’s played on simple instruments. Most of the symbols exhibit excellent animations which all enhance the gaming experience. From the Hippie Man showing a white flower to the Smiley Face sticking out a tongue.
Symbols
The symbols on the reels are the Power Flower, Biker, Lava Lamp, Smiley Face, Cross, Tambourine, Hippie Man and Hippie Woman. The Bus is the bonus symbol, the Heart is the wild symbol and the Motorcycle is the scatter symbol.
Wild
The Heart symbol is the wild and only appears on reels 1, 2 and 3.It substitutes other symbols to create winning combinations and also acts as a multiplier. The value of the multiplier is equal to the number of Heart symbols on the reels.
Scatter and Free spins
The Motorcycle is the scatter symbol. It does not offer scatter payouts. However, three or more Motorcycle symbols scattered anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins round where 10 free spins are awarded with a 5x multiplier. In the free spins round the wild symbols become expanding wilds.
Bonus
Three or more Bus symbols on the reels will trigger the special bonus round. In each bonus round the player is taken to a different city. The journey covers New York, London, Paris, Tuscany and Tokyo. At each city there are a number of hippie hitchhikers who want to get onto the bus to go to the rock concert. Players choose a hitchhiker and the bus will go to that hitchhiker. As the hitchhiker boards the bus he offers the player a random number of credits for being given the ride. If the player manages to visit all the cities in a single game then he gets taken to the rock concert where he can win further credits.
There is no progressive jackpot in Psychedelic Sixties. However the fixed jackpots are decent. The highest fixed jackpot of 2000 coins is paid out when five of the Power Flower symbol appear in an enabled pay-line. The second fixed jackpot associated with the Biker symbol pays out 1500 coins.
