Launched back in December 2015, Nordic Heroes is an exciting video slot from IGT. In this game you can work to build up an arsenal of weapons, just like the Nordic warriors from years gone by, and fight epic battles in an assortment of fantasy realms alongside elves and archers.
Theme
The ancient European style of the slot is similar to famous works of fiction such as Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. Symbols include Nora the Nordic archer, woodland forage foods like berries and mushrooms, gold coins, eagles and arrows. When you begin the bonus games of Nordic Heroes you choose one of two realms to play in; they are Forest of Fortune and Sea of Glory. Each of these worlds comes complete with their own characters, symbols, graphics and features.
How to play
Nordic Heroes is designed in a similar style to your favourite ‘sword and sorcery’ video games, and allows you to play as different heroic characters and play your way through different levels. When you first enter the world of Nordic Heroes you will be playing as Thora and have a limited selection of weapons to hand. After the third level of the game you will become Ragnar, a more accomplished fighter with a whole new set of tools to fight with. The game itself has five reels and 30 pay lines; it is available to play from as little as 30p per spin and as high as £600 per spin.
Bonuses and extras
When you’re playing as Thora in the first three rounds there is a multiplier between 2X and 30X which can be triggered at any time. The free spins feature can be triggered at any level of Nordic Hero.
