Mega Shark Design
This is an ocean themed video slot with the mega shark as the main character. There is predominantly blue throughout and the graphics are decent, although a little cartoonish. The reels are sat against the ocean backdrop and the symbols are clown fish, starfish, puffer fish, sea turtles, yellow and black fish and yellow and purple fish. The shark is the main symbol and can pay up to 500x your wager for a full combination.
Gameplay and Features
Mega Shark relies heavily on the multipliers and free spins to rack up those winnings. There’s not a great deal more and nothing innovative. If you land 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols, you will receive a pay out of between 2x and 50x your stake. You also win 15, 20 or 30 free spins and this feature can be re-triggered over and over. Every time you land a win, this will also come with a 3x multiplier attached to boost your winnings.
You can bet from £1 up to £500 a spin which will appeal to high rollers and although the maximum win in the base game is 500x, when the free spins come into play, this increases to 1500x.
Verdict
This is a fun slot to play, but it’s a little lacking in the features department. The 3x multiplier which comes with the free spins is nice, but that’s it for excitement really. The RTP is around 95% which is on the low side, so unless you’re a huge fan of sharks or the ocean, there are other slots out there with more to offer.
