Gameplay
The game takes place in an ice kingdom, the reels are dark blue with a frozen frame and set against a wall of ice. Reels are filled with symbols including, 4 low value gems and 3 weapons, there is also the Ice Valkyrie and the Ice Barbarian. The latter is the highest paying of the symbols and will give 3, 6 or 12x your stake for 3, 4 or 5.
The wild is a blue crystal logo with a golden frame, it will substitute for all other symbols except the Hammer wild and it only appears on reels 3, 4 and 5.
There are quite a few features on offer in Kingdoms Rise Reign of Ice, they are:
Hammer Re-spins feature – this is triggered when a hammer is released. The hammer wild will only land on reel 2, it will replace all other symbols. If it lands at the same time as Ice Barbarian or Ice Valkyrie, they will try to free the hammer from the ice.
Ice Barbarian or Ice Valkyrie symbol can free 1 Hammer Wild each, this would give you 4 hammer wild symbols.
The freed hammers are collected in a multiplier bar situated over the reels. For 1, 2, 3 or 4 hammer wilds, you get a 1x, 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier.
When in the feature, wilds can land on reels 3 to 5 and will freeze the reels when they land. If a Hammer Wild symbol lands on reel 2, all regular wilds will unfreeze. Hammer wilds will become multiplier wilds. If there is a hammer in the multiplier bar and there are regular wilds on reels 3, 4 or 5, then one of the regular wilds will be chosen at random to freeze, it will stay frozen for the re-spins. The hammer re-spins will end when there are none left in the multiplier bar.
This is a Kingdoms Rise online game, so you can trigger the Hammer Re-spins feature from the Kingdoms Rise Shop. There are 2 options to choose from:
400 tokens will buy 1 hammer from the multiplier bar.
1,500 tokens will buy up to 4 hammers from the multiplier bar.
Barbarian Re-spins feature – to play this feature you can buy it from the shop for 800 tokens. You will only have Ice Barbarian symbols and 1 or more will trigger the multiplier meter. If new Ice Barbarian symbols fall onto the reels, active multipliers are applied after each re-spin.
Beginning with 3 re-spins, every Ice Barbarian symbol will freeze until the feature has ended. Every Ice Barbarian symbol that lands will reset the re-spins to 3. The re-spins carry on until you run out of re-spins or the reels are filled with Ice Barbarian symbols.
Valkyrie Re-spins feature – You can buy the feature in the shop for 1,000 tokens
The frozen 5x multiplier can be seen above each reel with just Ice Valkyrie symbols landing on the reels. Each Ice Valkyrie symbol that lands will be frozen and give you a cash prize.
The 5x multiplier is triggered if 3 Ice Valkyrie symbols land on a reel, if no Ice Valkyrie symbols land, it will reduce the re-spins counter and a new Ice Valkyrie symbol will re-set the re-spins to 3.
