Visually, this is a pretty design with nice graphics and bright colours aplenty. The framed reels sit against the lush, green rolling hills, with trees and a castle in the background. The game changes from daylight to night-time as you play, and the pleasant Irish music adds nicely to the overall theme.
Symbols are the lower value 10 to Q, then the K and A which pay double. Next are the shamrock and horseshoes which pay out even more, and lastly, the pot of gold which is the highest value.
Gameplay and Features
The only real feature in this slot is the hot spins feature which is triggered every time you win at least 4x your stake. The maximum amount the reels can spin during just 1 hot reels feature, is 100, but this can be re-triggered over and over as long as you keep winning more than your 4x stake.
Probably the most exciting part of the hot reels feature is that the RTP increases from the standard 95.1% up to 100%, making a win much more likely.
Verdict
There is nothing innovative about the theme as there are hundreds of other Irish themed slots out there, and while the design is nice, it’s not the most stunning we have seen either. However, if you like this style of slot, you’ll probably love King of Charms. The hot reels round is what really makes things more exciting, and the 100% RTP isn’t something we normally see, so it’s definitely worth trying out.
