Nobody is sure at what point the Christmas period started to begin in early November, but that is definitely where we are at this point, which means now we are in the penultimate month of the year, the Christmas slots are going to start coming.
One of the first to hit the market comes from Red Tiger Gaming, and is somewhat unimaginatively named Jingle Bells.
About the slot
With five reels and 20 paylines, Jingle Bells is playable from 20p to £500 a spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
Christmas isn’t a time for fresh ideas, so the design here is probably best described as comfortably predictable, just what the festive season is asking for.
The problem is, there’s a lot of slots that is true of, and baubles, bells, and stockings on the reels don’t help that.
The stocking is the highest value regular symbol, paying out 320x your stake for five on a payline, while the wild symbol will pay out 400x your bet for a full payline, as well as substituting for all but the bonus symbols.
Gameplay
Santa appears during the base game to trigger one of four modifiers, these include extra wilds, high value symbols, and more.
There are two main features here, land three bonus symbols and you’ll enter a cashtrail feature, make it further up the trail for bigger prizes, with a top payout of 800x your stake up for grabs.
Land three scatter symbols to trigger the Free Spins feature, pick one of three sacks to get up to 20 spins, with all the base game mini features able to be triggered.
There are more features here than one would expect from a Christmas slot, making this an excellent choice if you can’t wait until December to get seasonal!
