Sometimes, the name of a slot suggests there has been very little effort into its creation, this was true of Wazdan’s dismally titled Hot Party, and it’s certainly true of the slot’s sequel, the less than creatively names Hot Party Deluxe.
However, Wazdan have surprised us with their slots more than once before, maybe they could do it again here?
About the slot
With five reels and 20 paylines, Hot Party Deluxe is, as its predecessor was, based around a beach party, and the symbols on the reels are far from eye-opening either in their originality or in their design.
A medium variance slot with an RTP of 96.42%, Hot Party Deluxe is actually more unique than it looks thanks to the addition of Wazdan features such as their well-respected Volatility Levels option, as well as Double Screen mode and a Gamble feature that gives you the option to go double or quits on all your winnings.
You will find beach balls (the scatter symbol), parasols, anchors, and more themed imagery on the reels, none of which stands out or looks particularly impressive, but at least it stays on theme.
Gameplay
As with its predecessor, Hot Party Deluxe has a progressive jackpot that is about the most interesting part of the game, although there is an interesting scatter feature.
Instead of triggering a free spins game like a scatter symbol usually would, instead, the scatters give out cash prizes here, and they don’t even have to be part of a winning combination to do so, ensuring that there’s some nice little extra wins for you to pick up along the way.
Wazdan have some top-quality slots under their belt, but it’s fair to say Hot Party is not one of them, and Hot Party Deluxe does very little to change that.
