Happy Ape
Play at SpinYoo Casino
Habanero have just released this super cute, fun-filled slot, named Happy Ape. This is a high variance slot with an RTP of 96.66% with reels set on a 5 x 3 grid. Features include free spins, multipliers, random wilds, scatters and benefits from no wins.
Happy Ape Design
There are plenty of jungle themed slots out there, but Happy Ape is slightly different in that it looks very light-hearted to start off with. There are trees and vines all in the background and cute little monkeys scattered about, along with the odd banana. The reels are set within stone pillars and the main happy ape is to the side of these.
Symbols include the usual spade, heart, clubs and diamonds, along with bananas, plums, oranges, pears and coconuts. Wilds can substitute any other symbols except for scatters.
Gameplay and Features
There are a few nice features in Happy Ape. The treasure chest at the top of the reels comes into play throughout and unlocks various features and modifiers such as wilds and scatters.
The banana toss feature is a fun one, shooting out up to 6 extra wilds which can then substitute other symbols and form winning combinations.
The ape smash feature is similar to this too as it removes any non-winning symbols and replaces them with more symbols in the hope of forming a win.
The free spins feature is a key addition in this game. To trigger this, you need to land 3 or more scatters. You’ll receive your free spins which can also be triggered up to 36 times and with each round, the treasure chest will unlock a new feature for you.
Verdict
This is a really fun, light-hearted slot with the potential to win big, especially during the free spins feature. You can bet from 15p to £1500 a spin, but remember, this is a highly volatile game, so while it might look cute, it can bite back!
