If you are a DC comics fan, then NextGen should be your favourite software provider, alongside its brother slot games, Batman and the Flash, Green Lantern makes up a trilogy of slot games from the provider based on the popular comic book series’, which between them have spawned a huge amount of movies and television shows over many decades.

The Green Lantern may not be as well-known as his Dark Knight brethren, but that doesn’t make this slot any less impressive than the Batman slot also released by NextGen this summer.

Visual

If you have played either of the other two NextGen DC games, you will already know what you’re getting here, and that is top quality animations and spellbinding graphics that will help you immerse yourself fully in the game.

This five-reel, 50 payline slot, switches between two world depending on whether you are playing the base game or you have activated the Bonus Bet, and both of them look amazing.

Gameplay

There are a few nice features here, the Free Spins feature offers 24 free spins if you land a lantern on reel three and wilds on reels two and four. Green Lantern wilds offer 4x multipliers on wins during this feature, which cannot be retriggered.

Ring feature, if you pay a bit extra to activate Bonus Bet, you will have an animated fight as the Green Lantern against Sinestro, beat your enemy for the chance to win big.

There’s also a gamble feature here, similar to that found on many other NextGen slots, you can double your winnings up to five times, but if you lose, you lose it all, so think carefully before using this feature.

Another excellent DC themed slot for the summer from NextGen, green Lantern is a huge amount of fun to play.
