Don your hard hat and head down the mineshaft with the latest slot partnership from All41Studios and Microgaming, Gold Collector. This slot has a medium volatility and features free spins, scatters, wilds, bonus symbols and a bonus game.
Bets start from 10p a spin and rise up to £100 a spin and the top prize available is 1200x your stake. It’s available to play on all devices and the RTP is set at 96.4%.
Gold Collector Design
We’re seeing a cross section of a mine shaft with the reels in the centre and brown stone and earth to the sides. The graphics are excellent with clear, sharp details and bold, crisp symbols on the reels.
To the left are mini, minor, maxi, major and grand jackpot totals which are also above each reel too.
Reels are on a 5×4 grid with symbols consisting of 10 to A stones as lower values, with picks, spades, carts of gold, lanterns, gold coins and a bearded prospector and higher values.
There is also a wild which can replace any symbol but only lands on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th reels.
Gameplay and Features
You need at least 3 of the gold coins to trigger the HyperHold feature. Here, reels containing the coins are active and a spin meter above each one comes into play. You’ll receive 3 free spins and if more coins land, the meter is reset to 3. This continues until you have either filled all spaces with coins or you run out of free spins.
When each reel is filled, the fixed jackpot associated with it, pays out. The jackpots are worth 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x or 1000x your stake.
The free spins round is triggered by landing at least 3 scatters and can be re-triggered when you land another 3 scatters.
Verdict
This is a nice design with fairly straightforward gameplay. The hyperhold feature is a nice touch but is more like a hold and win feature that you’ll find in plenty of other games. It’s a solid offering, but nothing exceptional.
