There’s no doubt, this is a well-designed game with detailed graphics and excellent overall feel. We’re in ancient Egypt and there is a blue hue to the background. We appear to be within a pyramid and there are two pharaohs either side of the reels. The gold framed reels have bold symbols which include 10 to the A royals as the lower values, with four Egyptian gods as the higher values.
There is also a wild which can replace all other symbols and the scatter symbols which triggers the free spins round.
Gameplay and Features
Firstly, you have the option of a super stake feature which increases your stake by 50% and gives you additional features and bigger prizes.
The pyramid tomb is the wild and scatter and when you land at least 3 of them, you’ll receive 10 free spins and a scatter prize. This can be re-triggered every time you land at least 3 of these symbols.
The Pyramid of Secrets feature is triggered when you land at least 6 pyramid symbols. These remain on these reels and the other symbols turn into separate reels, giving you 3 re-spins. Each time you land a pyramid symbol, you receive another 3 re-spins and each pyramid symbol has its own prize.
There are also three jackpots to be won too. The Mini Pyramid, Major Pyramid and Mega Pyramid. All have various jackpot prizes and it is possible to win the Mega Pyramid twice if you land the pyramid symbol in all 15 fields.
Verdict
Overall, this is a solid slot with some pretty decent features and jackpots to be won. It’s just hard to get excited over another Egyptian themed slot as there are just so many out there, jostling for position. But it does have great potential and a nice top prize on offer so worth a spin.
