Gems Bonanza Design
Even though it’s a gems slot, the design is actually really nice. The 8 x 8 grid is a scroll set against a backdrop of old temple style buildings and a pyramid. The graphics are nice and crisp and the panpipe soundtrack compliments the overall design nicely.
All the symbols are coloured jewels of various sizes and shapes. The highest value is the red gem, paying out 1000x your wager for 25 or more in a cluster. The wild symbol can replace all others when it lands.
Gameplay and Features
Gameplay is a little different in this slot, the symbols cascade down and the coloured markers can trigger modifiers. If wins are formed, new symbols cascade down and this keeps going until no more wins are made.
The Wild Gem feature is triggered by a pink marker, the Nuclear feature is triggered by a blue marker, the Colossal feature (where a 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 grid is added) is triggered by a red marker, the Squares feature is triggered by a brown marker and the Lucky Wilds feature is triggered by the green marker. These additional features range from additional symbols being added, free spins and additional wilds.
There is also a Gold Fever Progressive feature. To get to this you need to have collected 114 winning symbols from your spins. Each winning symbol is collected in a meter and when the feature begins, depending on the amount of winning symbols, you’ll be awarded with multipliers from 2x up to 10x your wager.
Verdict
This is a really impressive game, from the visuals to the gameplay. There are plenty of features and continuous action to keep you immersed in the game. The RTP is slightly above average, but it is a very volatile slot, so keep that in mind!
