Gemix 2 deisgn is similar to the original game. It’s set on a 7×7 grid and has 4 different worlds where the action takes place. You can be up in the clouds with a fairy tale castle in the background, or in a mystical valley with trees, rolling hills and beautiful flowers all around.
It’s a beautifully design game with sharp, clear graphics and a medieval feel to it.
8 various coloured gems make up the symbols, with the star gem being the most valuable. There are also 4 different guardians that can appear with a unique wild.
Gameplay and Features
Gemix 2 is a cluster pays slot, so wins are clusters of symbols rather than rows. After each win, winning symbols are removed and new ones cascade down to fill their place. If you win again, this repeats until there are no more wins.
When you form a win with at least 25 symbols, the Crystal Charge features are activated with 4 to choose from. The Nova Blast explodes 1 symbol and transforms adjacent symbols. The Crystal Warp chooses a symbol and then transforms all other matching symbols. The Light Beam feature shoots out a beam onto the grid and all symbols within the beam are transformed. The Chain Lightning feature is when 2 symbols in the corner have a lightning bolt attaching them. Anything the lightning hits will be transformed.
Get a win of at least 50 symbols and all 4 of the above modifiers are active along with a 2x multiplier.
The World Bonus feature is when you clear patterns on each world when certain symbol positions are highlighted. When you clear a world, you can win a prize displayed to the side of the reels.
There is a guardian character for each world and each comes with a wild which triggers at random. The Knight can deliver 2 mega wilds with multipliers, the Princess can spread wilds to the edges, the Miner brings up to 10 wilds and the Wizard gives up to 5 sticky wilds.
Verdict
If you loved the original, you’ll love this, mainly because there is very little difference. It’s packed with additional features and has a beautiful design. The RTP is slightly lower, but still respectable for a medium variance game.
