Fruits & Jokers

Nostalgia is a concept that slot games have been more than keen to explore for a long time, but perhaps none are fonder of the idea than Playson.

The Timeless Fruit Slots series is Playson’s affectionate look back at fruit machines of the past, and the newest addition to the series, Fruits & Jokers, may be one of the best yet.

About the slot

With five reels and 20 paylines, Fruits & Jokers is playable from 20p to £100 a spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

If you are looking for bright and colourful slots with a host of graphics and animations, then it is advisable to go elsewhere, because you are certainly not going to find it here.

Plain reels house basic, classic fruit machine symbols including cherries, lemons, melons, and lucky 7s, the latter of which being the most lucrative standard symbol, paying out 18x your stake for five on a payline.

However, the highest paying symbols are the wild, which alongside playing the usual role of a wild symbol, will also pay out 75x your stake for five on a line, and the scatter, which pays 400x your bet for five.

Gameplay

The scatter symbol may be the highest value symbol on the reels, but it doesn’t do anything else, no free spins or click and pick features, just a basic fruit machine themed slot that has all the charm of a classic slot, with two extra reels, and nothing else added.

The Timeless Fruit Slots series is not for everyone, Playson have many other slots with more exciting and creative themes, but if you are a player who enjoys a nostalgia overload, then this series should appeal to your tastes perfectly, and of all the options available, Fruits & Jokers may be the best.
