FRKN Bananas

By Becky M. | Updated 5 February 2025

FRKN Bananas is a new release from the talented team at Hacksaw Gaming, due for release on February 13, 2025. Players venture to Peelington, a city ruled by badass bananas. With zany humour, vibrant graphics, and high-energy gameplay, FRKN Bananas is not just a cheeky title – it’s a slot experience that promises laughter and excitement in equal measure. If you are a fan of Hacksaw’s Donut Division, you’ll love this one!

About FRKN Bananas

Welcome to Peelington City, where Banana citizens run the show. The design blends slapstick humour and polished animation with a more sinister undertone. To the left of the reels, an angry-looking banana stands brandishing a green banana. To the right is a rotting, squishy banana that looks like it succumbed to the sinister guy. The lively soundtrack features jazzy tunes that complement the cheeky, high-energy vibe.

The action unfolds on six reels with 19 active paylines. You’ll need three matching symbols on adjacent reels to score a win, starting from the leftmost reel.

Paytable

The lower-paying symbols feature the usual suspects – 10, J, Q, K, and A. Landing six on a payline awards 0.1x to 0.7x the bet. The high payers are the hotdogs, popcorn, boxing gloves, and sparkling diamonds. Land six matching high payers awards 0.5x to 3x the bet.

The Wild is a rebellious-looking banana that substitutes any regular pay symbol. It also pays 5x the bet for six on a payline.

The slot is available across all devices from 10p to £100 per spin. The slot is played with high volatility, an RTP of 96.31% and a max win capped at 10,000x the bet.

FRKN Bananas Gameplay and Features

FRKN Bananas includes Banana Split? No, Banana Spread!, Bananza!, Banana Blitz and a Buy-In feature.

Banana Split? No, Banana Spread!

At the heart of FRKN Bananas is the Spread Mechanic. Special banana symbols appear on the reels with an arrow pointing either to the left or upwards. When one lands, it spreads in the direction of the arrow, transforming every symbol in its path into a wild. Each newly transformed wild has a random multiplier worth 1x to 100x.

This is where the excitement levels reach a fever pitch! If multiple spreading bananas overlap, their multipliers combine, creating the potential for huge wins. The only catch?

Bananza! Free Spins: A Free-For-All of Fruity Fun

The Bananza! Free Spins triggers with three FS scatters anywhere on the reels. Once activated, you’ll be awarded 10 free spins. During the Bananza!, those mischievous spreading bananas show up more frequently with higher multiplier values. This means more wilds, more multipliers, and a whole lot more chances to cash in big.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Landing additional scatters during the free spins awards more spins.

Banana Blitz! Free Spins

If you thought the Bananza! Free Spins were wild; wait until you unlock the Banana Blitz! Free Spins feature. It triggers with four FS scatters on the reels. During the feature, sticky banana symbols with random multipliers worth up to 100x are active. But here’s the kicker: once they land, they remain for the duration of the feature.

Moreover, a ‘Go Bananas’ symbol is active during the feature. If it lands, it copies all existing sticky bananas up to ten times, creating a grid bursting with wilds and multipliers. The result? A feature that’s as unpredictable as it is lucrative.

Conclusion

FRKN Bananas is a full-on banana bonanza from start to finish. Hacksaw Gaming has once again created a stunning slot that is visually entertaining with a side of dark humour. Whether you’re a fan of wild multipliers and sticky symbols or enjoy a good laugh, this game has something for everyone. With high volatility and a generous RTP, FRKN Bananas offers a chance to win up to 10,000x the bet. It’s not just fun to play; it’s genuinely ‘un-peel-ievable’.

FRNK Bananas will be available from the 13th of February 2025 at most UK online casinos.
