Fortress Charge is the latest title from Crazy Tooth Studio, exclusively for Microgaming. The quest-based slot comes with a new Fortress Charge mechanic that looks set to be the beginning of a new series of games.

About The Slot

Fortress Charge is a high variance video slot with an RTP set at 96.45%. The slot is played across 6 reels with 3 paylines and bets range from 10p up to £15 per spin across all devises. The Medieval themed slot comes with a combination of heroes and a high quality design throughout.

With a magical fantasy theme, the game takes place on a castle wall and 4 heroes adorn the reels, these are a dragon, a beast, an elf, a dwarf and a knight. The Villains are ogres, scorpions, spikes, boulders, and snakes. Accessories are, potions, spears, wooden shields, metal shields, and magic wands.

Gameplay and Features

When you spin the reels you may see Heroes land on the 1^st reel and 3 fortresses appear on the last reel. Reels in between may contain an accessory, a 2x multiplier with up to 4 to be collected, a villain or a chest which is worth up to 15x your stake.

Any Hero on the first reel will move to the right by one space, if a villain appears, the Hero may or may not defeat him. If an accessory is present the Hero will collect it. If chests are found these contain instant wins and multipliers are also collected.

When Heroes win or find something to collect, they move to the right, this continues until they reach the fortress which can award up to 1,500x your stake or they are defeated.

Beast defeats the ogre

Dragon defeats the ogre and the spikes

Elf defeats the scorpion

Dwarf defeats the boulder

Knight defeats the scorpion as well as the snake.

Accessories help the Heroes against the monsters and sometimes fireballs will fall from the sky and remove obstacles in the Heroes path.

Fortress Charge is quite an unusual game and looks like a platform game which I really enjoyed. If you manage to get your Hero across the grid, you could see a nice prize. Get the fortress at 1,500x with a couple of multipliers and you could see even bigger wins. The maximum potential win is 16,000x your stake but you would have to be very lucky to achieve this.
