Extra Chilli More Chilli is a video slot by Big Time Gaming due for release on 23 September 2026. It arrives eight years after the original Extra Chilli, one of BTG’s best-known Megaways slots to date. The sequel returns to the colourful Mexican market, with several new mechanics joining a recognisable format.

Green, blue, red and purple chillies provide considerably more heat. Six matching symbols award between 1.5x and 15x the stake.

Special symbols are suitably less restrained. Rocket fireworks are the Wilds, substituting for regular paying symbols, while the golden H, O and T tiles are the Scatters. Landing all three to spell HOT triggers the Free Spins feature.

Reactions

Every winning combination triggers a Reaction that removes the winning symbols from the reels. Symbols above drop into the vacant positions before new ones enter from the top.

The four Chilli Bonuses are the obvious improvement. The respins add variety to the base game, while allowing activated modifiers to persist throughout the Free Spins, creating more interesting combinations. The Gamble option remains an important feature, now with the additional decision of how many Chilli Bonuses to take into the Free Spins.

Visually, BTG has been deliberately conservative. Extra Chilli More Chilli is pretty much identical to Extra Chilli, and after eight years, a more ambitious overhaul would not have gone amiss. Yet the familiarity works because the mechanics have moved forward.
