We’re back to the ever-popular Chinese themed slots with Dragon Tiger, a high variance 5 x 4 slot with 1024 betways. This slot is brought to you by Pragmatic play and has an RTP set at 96.5%. You can wager from 20p up to £100 a spin and features include free spins, multipliers, scatters and wilds.
Dragon Tiger Design
This is a very traditional Chinese themed slot and the visuals are excellent. There are regal gold dragons and tigers either side of the reels with highly detailed graphics. The soundtrack is quite upbeat and compliments the overall design really well. The gold framed reels have a dark purple background and the symbols really pop out nicely.
The symbols here are the lower value 9 to A royals, along with more lucrative symbols such as a koi fish, lucky frog, tortoise, rabbit and tiger. The tiger is the most valuable and is you land 2, 3, 4 or 5 in a combination, you’ll win 0.25x, 1.25x, 2.5x or 7.5x your wager.
The wild is the golden dragon which only lands on the central reels.
Gameplay and features
Dragon Tiger is all about the free spins here. You will need to land 3, 4 or 5 scatters which is the dragon tiger symbol, in order to activate the free spins round. As well as this, you’ll also receive 2, 10 or 20x your stake. 3 Dragon tiger symbols will give you 8 free spins, 4 will award 15 free spins and 5 will award 20 free spins.
When wilds land, they also come with a multiplier attached; either 2x, 3x or 5x. If you land multiple wilds, you will combine the multipliers in order to boost any winnings.
You can also re-trigger the free spins by landing at least 2 scatters on the same spin. This can be re-triggered over and over.
Verdict
Yes it’s another Chinese themed slot and there’s nothing we’ve not already seen before in terms of design or gameplay, but it is a really solid title. If you love these type of slots, you’ll probably have a spin or two on here, and if you’re new to slot games, it’s a straightforward design you can’t go wrong with.
