Discover the lost treasures in the Himalayan mountains with the help of the animal spirit guides. Chi is the latest Asian themed slot release from Elk Studios and comes with an RTP of 96%. The slot is unusual as the reels spin from right to left.
About the slot
Chi is a 5 reel video slot with 27 paylines and is playable on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. This is an affordable slot with wagering starting from 20p up to £20 per spin.
The reels are set between 2 red pillars with stone sculptures on either side on a misty mountain background, with cherry trees swaying in the breeze.
Symbols on the reels include cups, flutes, fans, gourds, koi carp, lanterns, jade stones and lotus flowers, the latter having the highest value, landing 5 on a payline will pay out x10 of you wager.
Bonus features
Landing 3, 4 or 5 of the free spin symbols will give you 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively.
If the stone sculpture on the left of the reels shows a red symbol on all three reels, it will awaken Chi the fire spirit and up to 6 wild symbols will be added to the reels, if the stone sculpture on the right shows a blue symbol on all 3 reels Mow the wind spirit will award a multiplier worth up to x5.
If any of the above trigger during the free spins, the wilds will become sticky wilds, and the multipliers will increase with each win.
The Stairway to Fortune feature is trigged by landing 3 of the ying-yang scatters. Chi Mow will stand at the bottom of a ladder of clouds which contain multipliers and Chi will choose a random number from 1-6 and Mow will move up that amount on the cloud ladder. This will only stop when Chi draws “collect” or Mow climbs to the top of the ladder and then the reels at the top will spin and the multipliers will be paid out.
This game is certainly unique with neat graphics and relaxing music playing, it was fun to play. You have the potential to win up to 12,500 of your wager on the Stairway to Fortune feature.
