Cave of Fortune

If you have the nerve, see if you can venture through the dangerous caves where you’ll find a gang of goblins who are all searching for treasures within. With plenty of danger along the way, Cave of Fortune is the April 2021 slot release from BF Games, and features scatters, wilds, free spins and symbol collection.

It is highly volatile with an RTP of 94.15% which is slightly under average, but is available to play on smartphones, tablets and desktop devices.

Cave of Fortune Design

This is a great looking slot where you’re at the bottom of a cave with a rail line to the left and lanterns and torch light all around. The graphics are excellent and have a cartoon style feel to them.

Above each frameless reel are small glass containers you’ll need to fill and the symbols consist of lower value 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A, with various coloured gems as the higher values. Joining these are vials of nitro, a scatter symbol which is a treasure chest and a wild which is a goblin.

Gameplay and Features

The glass containers above the reels gradually fill up when you land the nitro symbols. These nitro symbols are vials of green liquid and when the container above the reels is full, the reel becomes filled with goblin wilds. For the next 3 spins, the full reel remains wild. If you manage to fill all the containers and all reels become wild, you’ll receive a 200x multiplier on your bet.

At least 3 treasure chest scatters trigger the free spins round. You’ll start with 10, 15 or 20 free spins and during these, the Grand Nitro Meter will be in play. 15 nitro symbols will fill this up and award you with 500x your stake.

You can also trigger the Explode feature when the Grand Nitro Meter is on a minimum of three. Here, bombs are added and explode on the reels, acting as wilds.

Verdict

Mining themed slots are really popular and this is a great addition to the rest of them. The wilds give you plenty of action and the nitro containers at the top add to the excitement of the game. The RTP is on the low side, but it’s still worth a spin.
