As mentioned, this is a beautifully designed game and you’d expect no less from Play N’ Go. We’re in the Aztec jungle with the frameless reels sitting against the steps of a stone temple. There are lush green trees and plants either side, and the bright, light sun above. The graphics are very highly detailed and there is also a complimentary soundtrack which adds an ethereal quality.
Stone 10 to A royals are the lower value symbols and they’re joined by a key, a skull, a compass and Cat Wilde. The wild is the gold Sun God which substitutes any other symbol and pays 50x your stake when you land 5 on a payline. The moon Goddess is the scatter.
Gameplay and Features
Every time you land a win, the winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones cascade down to fill their place and hopefully form another win. If you land successive wins, you’ll get a 2x multiplier which increases to 6x then 10x. It resets back when you don’t land a win.
You’ll need to land the Moon Goddess scatter on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels to receive 10 free spins. This switches the game to night mode and the soundtrack revs up a gear. Each time another scatter lands, it’s collected in a meter and every 5 collected, gives you another 5 free spins. The cascading wins with multipliers are also active during the free spins round. You can receive up to 40 free spins with a 70x multiplier if the reels land in your favour.
Verdict
This is a great looking slot and the gameplay is exciting and immersive. The only real downside is that the top prize has been capped at 5500x your stake which is a shame.
