Cash Express is a combination of the Wild West and a train-themed slot. The reels which sit on the side of a rail cart take up most of the game space. On the reels are low-value cards suits, and four wild west characters worth up to 20x for 5 of the same on a payline. The Sheriff badge is the wild and this substitutes all except the bonus train symbol.
Gameplay
Cash Express is a Hold & Win style slot where after landing 6 or more train symbols you get 3 respins. Some train symbols contain multipliers and each additional train symbol landing during the respins drops to the lowest position on the grid and resets the respins back to 3. Once the bottom row is filled with train symbols their multipliers are awarded, they are then removed. The remaining symbols drop down to the lowest positions on the reels and the respins reset to 3. Once the spins are done the multipliers are added together and awarded.
If train symbols land in the base game, they progress to unlock Bonus enhancers. Above the reels are meters that monitor your progress. There are four enhancers in total the most lucrative awarding 100x, including any visible multipliers on screen.
Verdict
I would describe Cash Express as a middle-of-the-road slot. There’s nothing particularly innovative in terms of the features but they do differ slightly from others who utilise the Hold & Win type mechanic with the addition of four modifiers which could prove to be highly lucrative.
