About the slot
Butterfly Staxx 2 is a 5 reel, 40 payline video slot and can be played on tablet, desktop and mobile devices. Spinning the reels will cost from 25p up to £1,250 per go, so High Rollers will enjoy this one. The reels are set on a wall with lights either side and colourful vines.
On the reels you will see the Jack to the Ace royals which all have the lower value, then pink, blue and red flowers as well as a glowing butterfly, which is the most valuable symbol, you will be rewarded with 2x your wager for landing 5 of them on a payline, it can also appear as a stacked symbol.
The pink rose is the scatter symbol and the lotus flower is the wild symbol.
Gameplay
You can trigger the re-spin feature with a stacked reel of butterflies. They will move across the reels to the left and lock into place, and you will be given a re-spin. When you have butterflies filling reels 1 and 2, a 2nd set of reels will come into play, if you fill the 1st three reels with the butterflies you will then play on a 3rd set of reels. All three reels will remain in play until you land no more butterfly symbols or the reels are filled with them.
If you land a the pink rose scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 on any single spin will give you the option of 2 more bonus features:
Butterfly Spins will give you 5 bonus spins with the reels only containing active or dormant cocoon symbols, this will again be played on the three sets of reels. Active cocoons will transform into butterfly symbols which will move along to the leftmost reels as above.
Butterfly Frenzy will give you 10 pick and clicks on stage one, you will chose from the butterflies flying across the reels which can either award with a multiplier or move you on to the next stage, with multipliers increasing in value with each stage. There are 5 stages to complete.
I enjoyed this slot more than the original, it has good graphics and animations. The RTP is pretty decent at 96.35%.
