Breakout Bob Design

Firstly, it’s a nice change from the sea of Egyptian, space, Greek mythology and wild west themed slots. This slot is based around a grizzly convict named Bob, as you join him in order to break out of jail. It is set within the prison walls with barbed wire along the top and a watchtower in the background. The cartoon style graphics are nice but not super-highly detailed and the soundtrack compliments the overall feel of the game.

Symbols include cash, handcuffs, a bulldog, a policeman (with an impressive moustache!) and Bob himself. Bob is the most valuable. Land 3 or 4 in a payline for 30x or 120x your wager. The wild symbol can substitute any other except the scatter.

Gameplay and Features

There are a few nice features here. The first is the wheel of fortune which is made up of 16 segments and triggers at random. 12 segments are blank, and you get nothing if you land on these. We then have 2 minor jackpot segments which will pay out 50x your wager, 1 major jackpot segment which pays out 500x your wager, and 1 grand jackpot segment that pays out 10,000x your wager.

The bomb feature also triggers randomly, giving you from 4 to 6 free spins. Each spin gives you a multiplier that gradually increases from x2 all the way up to x25. This feature only stops when you either you use up all your free spins or you land a winning combo.

The lit bomb is the scatter and when you land 3 or 4, you’ll trigger the free games which start with 18 free spins. Any scatter that lands in this feature is saved in a meter and then transformed into wilds on your last free spin, increasing the possible winnings.

Verdict

It may look at little basic to start, but this is actually a really great slot. The theme is different to everything else and the features are really exciting! Bit of a dark horse we reckon.
