Set in the grounds of a mysterious Castle, Blood Lust from Elk Studios is based on beautiful vampires rather than scary characters in horror films from years gone by. The game comes with boosted symbol stacks, sticky symbols, re-spins and unlimited free spins.
About
Blood Lust is a high variance video slot with an RTP of 96%. Played over 5 reels and 99 paylines bets range from 20p up to £100 per spin across all devices. The graphics are superb set against a dark background but the brightly coloured symbols illuminate the game as the haunting sound track plays in the background.
Symbols on the reels include hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades which are brightly coloured gems, 4 vampires, one is Dracula, he has yellow eyes and is the highest paying symbol and awards 5, 20 or 40x your stake for 3, 4 or 5 on a payline.
The Wild substitute’s all symbols barring the re-spin and bonus scatter. 5 Wild across a payline awards 40x your stake.
Gameplay and Features
Blood Lust comes with 3 bonus features. Boosted symbol stacks can land on all the reels, there are also re-spin symbols that appear and give free re-spins and sticky symbols. The Bonus feature gives you transforming symbols and infinite free spins. Wins are found by landing 3 or more matching symbols across a payline.
The Boosted Re-spin feature comes in to play when The respin candle symbol appears on reel 5, a symbol is chosen at random and each one is held in place as well as any bonus scatter while a re-spin is taken.
To trigger the Bonus Game feature you need at least 3 bonus scatter symbols, or it can be triggered from the Boosted re-spin feature. It depends where the scatters land on each reel as to how many spins you receive, this will be between 4 and 15.
During the feature, the vampire symbols are collected in a vampire meter, when it’s full all instances of that particular vampire is replaced by Dracula symbols. You receive an extra free spin for each meter you manage to fill.
The feature can be re-triggered indefinitely by finding 3 more scatter symbols.
Blood Lust from Elk Studios comes with superb graphics and a fantastic soundtrack and suits the vampire theme well. The features are interesting and help to boost wins, if you fill the reels with stacks of vampires, you could see wins of up to 2,500x your stake on each spin.
