Visually, it is a little disappointing, as the graphics look somewhat dated. There is a cute dolphin who is the main character in the game and the tranquil soundtrack suits the pace of game.
It’s set on a 5 x 3 grid within the ocean and the symbols are the Ace to 10 Royals, blue green and purple gemstones. The purple gems pay the highest, giving you 7.5x your wager if you land 5 on a row.
Gameplay and Features
The wild symbol is the dolphin and this can substitute any other symbol. This can only land on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th reels and when they do, they expand and make the full reel wild.
The scatter symbol is the dolphin and pearl and if you land 3, 4 or 5 of them on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd reels in one spin, you’ll win 2x, 5x or 25x your stake. This feature can be re-triggered and you can also win free spins from this too.
There is also a double up feature which occurs during the base game or when a free spins round ends. You get to choose head or tails on a coin flip to either double or nothing.
Verdict
Even if you put the lacklustre graphics aside, Aquatic Treasures is still rather disappointing if you’re on the hunt for an exciting new slot. There isn’t anything unique and the pace of play is on the slow side, which may suit some players. The main dealbreaker is that the maximum win potential on this game is only 357.25x your wager, which is incredibly low by most standards.
