88 Fortunes MegaWays is themed on the Chinese culture and the fact that number 88 is considered to be lucky. The slot was developed by Shuffle Master and has an abundance of features which include cascading reels, multipliers and free spins.

About the slot

88 Fortunes MegaWays has 6 reels and up to 117,649 ways to win. The slot is playable across all devices and wagering starts from just 8p up to £88 per spin.

The colours on reels are mainly red and gold which most Asian themed slots are. Symbols are 9 to the Ace royals, followed by turtles, ships, Chinese bowls, a jade eagle and a gold coin. If you decide to up your stake, higher value symbols will come into play, which will be gold turtles, bowls, eagles and ships.

Gameplay

Each time you land a winning combination the winning symbols will disappear from the reels and new symbols will take their place, this will keep repeating until there are no more wins.

The wild symbol is the Fu Bat and will appear on reels 2-5, landing one or more wilds on the reels and the Picker feature can be activated at random. If this happens you will get to choose from 15 coins until you find 3 matching amounts of free spins:

10 free spins will come with a x6 multiplier

12 free spins will come with a x4 multiplier

15 free spins will come with a x2 multiplier

Landing 4 or more gong scatter symbols on adjoining reels will trigger the free spins feature where you will get between 8-12 bonus spins, each winning combination on the reels will also increase the multiplier by x1.

88 Fortunes MegaWays is a medium variance slot with an RTP of 96..06%. It did seem a bit complicated to start with, but once you got into it, it did get easier. You can potentially win up to 10,000 times your wager on any spin.
