Yggdrasil Gaming Grows With New Gibraltar Licence

Yggdrasil Gaming is one of the most respected content and software developers for online games. They have recently cemented their status as key players in the industry by acquiring a Gibraltar B2B Remote Gambling Licence. The licence was bestowed on Yggdrasil by the Gibraltar Licensing Authority (GLA), an important regulatory body.
Expansion Across Europe
The new licence will allow Yggdrasil to provide gaming solutions in a greater number of geographical locations, aiding their expansion across Europe. The GLA B2B will mean that the software providers can provide services to all operators that are located in Gibraltar. The new Remote Gambling Licence complements the others held by Yggdrasil Gaming. The organisation is already permitted to offer its services in the UK, with a UKGC software and platform licence. Yggdrasil is also authorised to work with operators based in Malta, due to their acquisition of a Class 4 Operator Provisions Licence.
Further Growth
Yggdrasil considers the new Gibraltar licence to be a stepping stone to further growth. This growth will take the form of offering more products to more customers, and of the creation and solidification of a variety of business collaborations. With such a progressive mentality, Yggdrasil looks set to grow exponentially.Frederick Elmqvist is the Chief Executive Officer at Yggdrasil Gaming, and believes the new Gibraltar licence to be ‘an important piece of the jigsaw’. He says ‘things have been going really well’ in the UK, and they’ve enjoyed ‘great success in Malta’ – both as the result of recent new licences for these jurisdictions. Previous successes would indicate the GLA B2B is a fantastic move for the iGaming giant.Elmqvist says that they are ‘delighted to become part of the Gibraltar e-Gaming community’, especially as Gibraltar is responsible for several big operators. The gaining of several licences, and their progressive approach to development and expansion, means that Yggdrasil Gaming is different from all the other providers.
