Yggdrasil Gaming Completes UK Rollout

In some circles you may here players whisper a certain developers name with giddy excitement, as Yggdrasil Gaming was once a little known development studio with big ambitions. Proving that they had the skills to but up their words, Yggdrasil Gaming has grown rapidly since its launch back in 2014. Promoting innovation first and foremost, this developer has produced some of the most advanced slot game titles in recent memory. Building off its success on international shores, Yggdrasil Gaming has now gone live in the UK, creating plenty of industry buzz in the process.
License Approved In December 2015
The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) approved the operating license application of Yggdrasil Gaming in December, with the brand wasting no time in pushing through an initial roll out. It means that the jaw dropping proprietary platform iSENSE 2.0, along with its come complete suite of games, are now accessible to British players for the very first time. Agreements for game distribution are already in place with Betsson, ComeOn, Vera&John, Mr Green, LeoVegas, and Unibet, with more top industry names set to follow.

With iSENSE 2.0 already being an award-winning platform, its arrival on British shores is only set to cement its legacy. Speaking on the matter Fredrik Elmqvist (Yggdrasil Gaming CEO) said, “We’ve had a very encouraging start given that we only received our licence at the end of last year, and are already live with some operators. Overall, we’re thrilled to be live in the UK, which is now an extremely important market for Yggdrasil.” He also spoke on the competitive nature of the market, “The UK marketplace is the most competitive in Europe, but we have a track record of succeeding in every market we enter, and I am confident our industry-leading platform and games will allow us to repeat the trick there.”
